Started in 2008, Johnny came off the road with some big acts & began to see this private drum business and the passionate percussion people of Texas that were coming in to learn, as something that was bigger then he ever imagined, here we are still getting to share that magic now!
Playing since he was 2 years old, teaching himself by ear 👂 He never put down the sticks & at 15 years old taught his first lesson from his parents living room, where TSDL was born!
[over 40,000 lessons, numerous drum camps & percussion programs from 2009-2021]
Now traveling to over 150 homes a week from Lakewood to Rockwall, a growing team of instructors that aren’t just good at drumming & playing anything that is desired, but GOOD WITH PEOPLE & seeing exactly what it is you need to SUCCEED at music!
